IT IS important that Christians create. We are made in the image of God, the Creator, and to fail to create is to fail to reflect the God who made us.

Although I read music only slightly better than Stevie Wonder, I find an inner compulsion every now and then to make up a tune or to knock out a few verses to sing to some existing piece of music. I hope that, if I show that this can be done, others will get the idea and perhaps begin writing, painting, composing -- whatever it is that they do.

Although what is written here may sometimes lapse into the formulaic, I hope it will inspire others to do the same and better.
